Our Community Gatherings:

House Church - We currently have two house churches which meet on Sunday evenings.  The south/central group meets at the Smiths' house from 5:00-7:30, and the north/central group meets at the Jerkins' house from 5:30-8:00. We share a meal and have a time of prayer, fellowship, study, and communion.  for maps.

Worship - We meet on Wednesday nights at Central Christian Church at the corner of 12th and Guadalupe.   We meet from 7:00-8:00pm for a time of singing, prayer, teaching, and communion.  for maps.  We also go out to dinner after worship, and anyone is welcome to come along -- it's a great opportunity to visit and get to know people from other house churches.

Service - Immanuel volunteers with Micah 6, an interdominational organization dedicated to helping feed the poor and homeless of Austin.  We volunteer on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each  month from 10:00-12:00.  Anyone is welcome to join us.  for maps.

Formation Groups - These are groups of 2-4 people who meet regularly to study the Bible together.  Whether you were raised in Sunday school or have never even opened a Bible, you would be welcome to join one of these groups.  For details about when and where they meet, contact Kester Smith at 512-965-7537 or at pastorkes@yahoo.com.

Austin Inklings - The Inklings is neither a club nor a literary society, though it partakes of the nature of both. There are no rules, officers, agendas, or formal elections. It is a gathering that brings together diversity, discussion, and (in moderation) drinking.  Anyone is welcome to join the conversation, which usually gets started around 8:30 on Tuesday nights at Scholz's Beer Garden, which is @17th and San Jacinto. 

Other gathering times will be those set aside for service and just hanging out together.   These events will be planned for various times and places and will be announced during home groups, worship times, and on the website calendar.  Check the calendar for more details.
